On the advise of our friend Mandy, we went to Gunlom Falls in Kakadu last week-end. It was great to get out for a bush walk and test out Avryl's stamina! The walk is classed as "Difficult" and as you can see in the photos it was a real rock climb for Avryl, but she managed to get 2/3 of the way up before she asked to hop in the backpack. The result of the walk was a picturesque swimming hole. Avryl and I braved the water while Aaron guarded our gear. It was a matter of getting numb enough to go in further!

i am so jealous. We loved that walk and we have the best photos of Gunlom and Kakadu. Really missing the NT. Avryl looks like Lily did. But i was too scared of crocs to get in!!! Very brave of you!
